Course Overview

This day-long course is designed to allow you to get to grips with the basics of Ableton’s legendary Live music production suite. By the end of the session you will have learnt enough to put together a track using basic production techniques. The course is taught using hands-on workshops and practical time.

Whether you are an aspiring electronic music or hip hop producer, performer, or a DJ wanting to take your skills to the next level, this course is for you.

Pre-requisites

Students should have the following prerequisite knowledge prior to attending the course:

• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems

• Warp Modes, Markers, and methods
• The browser
• Making clips
• Using samples
• Recording Audio and Midi clips
• Working with Plug-ins and Effects
