Futureworks becomes official media training partner of thenerve.tv!
Futureworks is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with thenerve.tv that
will bring our students and thenerve.tv members together to work on real-world projects
that could become the next big TV show.
Futureworks' students will work alongside thenerve.tv members to produce content for TV and web-TV
at our facility in Manchester to be broadcast across the globe.
"I have been looking for a UK media training partner for thenerve.tv. I wanted a company
that is fresh, innovative and forward thinking, a company that would play a significant
role in shaping and defining the future of media through its students and thenerve.tv members.
I found all this and more in Futureworks, fantastic to have them on board!"
Mark Bowness, Director, thenerve.tv
thenerve.tv is the world's first crowd-sourced TV production company who are looking for
members of the public to help create a new breed of TV and web based programming.
It is the passion and belief of thenerve.tv creator, Mark Bowness, that there people out there
who have ideas that will be the next 'American Idol', the next 'Lost' or the next
'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?'.
Mark himself came up with the concept of Tribewanted which was turned into a major BBC
programme. He is now going on a global hunt to find The Next Big TV Show as he embarks
on a mission to find a TV Channel which is bold enough to take a TV concept from a
member of the public and turn it into 'The Next Big TV Show'.
"
Futureworks is delighted to be thenerve.tv's official media training partner. We believe
that Futureworks has everything that thenerve members need in order to help turn tv programme
ideas into reality. The training, support and experience that Futureworks can offer to
thenerve members and our students will certainly see many of you develop your own careers in such an exciting industry."
Ben Norris, Senior Manager, Futureworks
